MS Dhoni Returns With The Gloves As Chennai Super Kings March On With Their Preparations For IPL 2020

India’s veteran wicketkeeper-batsman, MS Dhoni has sent the fans drooling as he has returned with the wicketkeeping gloves in CSK’s training session.

Dhoni is a cult figure down south in the streets of Chennai and people worship him no less than a God for the glory he has achieved for the franchise. MS Dhoni has been a legendary figure not only in Indian cricket but in world cricket and people eagerly await his return in international circuit.

Dhoni last played an international game in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019 against New Zealand. Unfortunately, India lost the game and were eliminated out of the tournament.

MS Dhoni Dons Wicketkeeping Gloves Once Again

The Twitter account of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni’s franchise, shared Mahi’s picture with his wicketkeeping gloves in one of their training sessions. Chennai Super Kings have begun their preparations for this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and seem well on track with their route map.

India Still Hunt A Replacement Of Mahi

Team India are still in search of a perfect replacement for MS Dhoni since his departure from world cricket last year. Rishabh Pant has been given numerous chances with the bat and the gloves but the young flamboyant hitter has failed miserably.

KL Rahul has slowly and steadily cemented his place in the Indian team in colours with his recent performances with the bat and gloves. He won the Man of the Series in the recently concluded India-New Zealand T20 series.

Chennai Super Kings will begin their IPL 2020 campaign against their biggest rival, Mumbai Indians on 29th March in the opening game of the tournament at the Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai.
