The Chennai Super Kings skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni revealed one of his secrets during a promotional event for one of the franchise sponsors, Gulk.

The anchor of the program asked Dhoni to reveal the name of his first ever crush, and after a little game, the former India captain told her name.

The attention of the fans was steady on Dhoni and everyone gave a strong applause when he revealed it eventually. As the game of guesses was going, he disclosed her name as ‘Swwati’.

Dhoni revealed he used to have a crush on Swati when he last met her in the 12th standard way back in 1999. He also jokingly asked the presenter not to reveal the same to his wife, Sakshi.

The presenter played another prank on Dhoni. He almost freaked when the anchor suggested the same girl might be present in the crowd and asked her to be present on the stage. He later revealed he was joking when Dhoni looked a bit puzzled.

Dhoni’s IPL form so far

The wicket-keeper batsman is having a dream IPL season. It has been his best IPL season in many years, and he will surely look to continue his rich vein of form even in the international circuit.

His form will be a major boost for the national team in their preparation for the 2019 World Cup. He has smashed 27 sixes in the tournament, the most by any batsmen so far.

He has looked lethal and has rolled back the years when he first burst on to the scene. Dhoni has played quite a few match-winning innings in the tournament so far. He scored a sensational 70 off 34 deliveries against Bangalore early on to hand Chennai an incredible victory. He has been consistent and has provided the much-needed impetus in the later part of the innings.
