Nathan Lyon's former wife Mel Waring speaks about shocking split in her latest blog

The former partner of Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon in her new blog, Life of Lyon revealed about her devastating split.

Pertinently, the couple parted away in December 2017 after things went horribly wrong.

“In December of 2017, my world came falling down around me,” Mel wrote in the blog.

Mel, who is the Mother of two subsequently, pointed out the chilling details in the blog after the experienced spinner Lyon started the real estate agent Emma McCarthy, who hails from Perth.

“Life as I knew it was over and my soulmate was gone, leaving me and our girls to pick up the broken pieces and try to find a way to move forward alone. Every day I go through the same questions in my mind. Why was I not enough?,” Mel stated.

While talking about the separation, Mel cited a number of reasons in her penned down blog.

Interestingly, Mel stated gaining weight could also be one of the reasons of their split. Moreover, according to Australia media.

Lyon has been committed to Emma since past one year. It added they kept the relationship private in order to avoid the young family of New South Wales’ bowler.

“We have two small children who I have to put first,” Mel added.

In her blog, Mel also questioned Lyon what was the reason for their split. She wrote the blog on March 4 (Sunday).

“What did I ever do to him? Was it that I did too much or not enough? Is it because I put on weight? Because sometimes I really couldn’t be bothered shaving my legs or doing my hair?,” Mel mentioned.

Regarding the high-profile split, Mel reiterated she couldn’t remain silent after the humiliation. Mel was hurtful when a photograph revealed Lyon was spending time with an unknown woman, last year.

Interestingly, devastated Mel post the photograph on December 12, 2007, on her family alongside Nathan Lyon.

“I deserve to have a voice, “I no longer feel like I need to or should be silenced in something that has been so public, hurtful and downright humiliating for me,” the 29-year-old Mel wrote.

Concluding, Mel also revealed about her real-life demons while reiterating it is a painful experience.
