IPL 2018: Net spent on player retention by Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings was the first franchise to reveal the players it had decided to retain. They welcomed back their skipper, MS Dhoni, consistent Suresh Raina and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.

Dhoni was paid an amount of Rs 15 Crore while Raina and Jadeja were paid Rs 11 and 7 Crore respectively.

Chennai Super Kings is one of the successful teams in the history of IPL and again, the team is expected to do wonders again because they have got their core group back.

The team is expected to use RTM card on R Ashwin and Dwayne Bravo, who are best players at international level.

CSK will go with a purse of Rs 47 Crore on the auction day to be held on January 27 and 28 in Bangalore.
