New Zealand vs Bangladesh 2019: 3rd ODI, Dunedin – Match Review; Once again, the same result is at the display in the series between New Zealand and Bangladesh. They have outsmarted the visitors in all sections of the game to complete a whitewash in the 3-match ODI series. The collective batting effort followed by Tim Southee’s 6-for outsmarted Sabbir Rahman’s century.

1st Innings:

Initially, it was Bangladesh, who won the toss and chose to bowl first. This time, they were successful in getting the early breakthrough when Mortaza sent back Colin Munro for 8 runs to his name. On the other end, Martin Guptill once again got a decent start but unlike the other days, he failed to carry on with the flow.

However, Henry Nicholls and Ross Taylor steadied the innings with their half-centuries. They added a 92-run partnership for the third wicket before Henry walking back for 64 runs. After adding 55 runs with Tom, Latham, Taylor was also dismissed for 69.

Tom Latham, the skipper of the team in absence of Kane Williamson scored a handy 59-run knock for the team. Then came the stunning display of hitting in the slog overs by Colin de Grandhomme, wh0 scored 37 runs off 15 balls.

Mustafizur Rahman picked up 2 wickets while the rest of the bowlers bagged one wicket each to restrict New Zealand to 330 runs on the board.

2nd Innings:

In reply, Bangladesh once again got the worst possible start. They lost there top three wickets for 2 runs on the board when Tim Southee displayed his class. Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah looked like balancing the ship but lost their control in the middle, which let the scorecard read 61/5.

Then came the brilliant partnership from Sabbir Rahman and Saifuddin, who stitched 101-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Saifuddin walked back for 44 runs but Sabbir Rahman made the most of the opportunity to bring his maiden century for the country.

The veteran fast bowler Tim Southee finished with 6 wickets to his name. Trent Boult bagged a couple while Colin de Grandhomme picked up one wicket to see Kiwis winning the game with a margin of 88 runs.
