1. Martin Guptill:
Finally, their consistent batsman got his nick right back. He was exceptional in the series against Sri Lanka and would like to display the same against Indians as well. The opening batsman cracked a stunning century against Sri Lanka and also in a decent run of form in the domestic season. The team management would hope him deliver the goods.
2. Colin Munro:
Yet another dangerous batsman in the Kiwis lineup. The stylish southpaw is the major threat for India in the 5-match ODI series. He can take away the game from the opposition if he gets going upfront. Besides his batting, Munro is a useful part-time bowling option as well. One of the players to watch out in the series.
3. Kane Williamson:
Well, no surprises, right? One of the best batsmen in world cricket at present. He is one of a few batsmen, who can match to the consistency of Virat Kohli – The Run Machine. The right-handed batsman will carry a lot of burden against Indians in home conditions. It would also be interesting to watch his captaincy against flamboyant Indian Cricket Team.
4. Ross Taylor:
The formidable batsman of Kiwis will take the number 4 role. He is in ominous form, who is scoring runs on a consistent basis. His figures in 2018 were unbelievable and a sure threat for India to consider. Taylor always had a good record against India and once again, he would like to deliver the goods.
5. Tom Latham:
The stylish southpaw is back in the side after missing out in the series against Sri Lanka. He is very fresh from scoring a century in the ongoing domestic tournament. Tom got a fine record against India and can tackle the spin of Indians effectively. His inclusion makes Kiwis middle-order pretty solid.
6. Henry Nicholls:
The classy batsman was brilliant against Islanders in the recently concluded series. He will once again hold the key for Kiwis in crunch situations of the game. This is also his best shot to cement his place in the ICC World Cup 2019.
7. Mitchell Santner:
Santner will be the cynosure of the eyes, who is making his way back to the International Cricket after a fine period of time. He has got great skills in delivering the goods for the team in both sections of the game. It is going to be a crucial series for Mitchell Santner for his survival in the Kiwis cricket, especially, after injury.
8. Ish Sodhi:
The leg-spinner is the most underrated cricketer of Kiwis. However, he is one of the few players, who can turn the tables against India. He got the knack of outsmarting the batsmen with his unique skills. With the Pitches being flat, Sodhi will carry a lot of burdens.
9. Tim Southee:
The experieced fast bowler will be one of the players to look out in the series. He has got the skills to deliver beautiful line and lengths in the powerplay overs. His performance against Indian openers is going to be a crucial aspect of the series.
10. Trent Boult:
The stylish southpaw is one of the major players to watch out. He has always been exceptional for Kiwis at home and can do the required damage for the opposition. An impact player, who can turn the things in a span of a few deliveries. A go-to bowler for Kane Williamson.

Ferguson might be the surprising bowler, whom India needs to give proper research. India has the habit of falling prey to the new bowler. Here, Ferguson has got all the required ingredients to make an impact on the game. His raw-pace is going to be a lookout in the bilateral series.
