Unlike other Test cricket nations, where we commonly experience the best batting pitches in the first two innings of a Test match, New Zealand pitches mostly helps the batsmen in the 2nd and 3rd innings of the Test match and Basin Reserve (Wellington) is the best example of it in recent time.
