Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are among the most successful batsmen in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history and their numbers speak for themselves. Virat Kohli has hit 5412 runs in the IPL at an average of 37.84 while MS Dhoni has amassed 4432 runs at a staggering average of 42.20. He has moreover, batted mostly as a finisher, in the tournament.

Kohli leads the all-time most runs scorer list in the IPL while Dhoni is seated on seventh spot. Both captains of their respective franchise, are also very good players of spin, but they have failed to trouble Brad Hogg much, the former Australia off-spinner said on a video message posted on Twitter.

“Righty-o, so I’ve been thinking of all the batsmen I’ve bowled to and then it struck me, why don’t I make a list of the ones who’ve TROUBLED me most? So here we are – the TOP 6 batsmen in the IPL who’ve given me a hard time. Well, you could say I was kinda scared to bowl to them,” Hogg tweeted.

Rishabh Pant might have been on the receiving end for his poor shot selection but he is one of the most explosive batsman in the shortest format. The IPL also gives him a license on display his natural batting ability. The young wicket-keeper batsman made it to the list of batsmen who have troubled Brad Hogg the most in IPL.

Besides him, Hogg picked up, swashbuckling West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard, Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, Glenn Maxwell, Chris Gayle and Dinesh Karthik. Surprisingly enough, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni missed out from the list.
