Pakistan Batsman Fakhar Zaman's Instagram Account Hacked

Star Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman was at the receiving end when some miscreants hacked his Instagram account. Meanwhile, Zaman is currently in England plying his trade in the T20 Blast for Glamorgan.

Zaman, who single-handedly took the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final away from India, is one of the best batsmen in the country currently. It was on early morning on September 1, when his followers noticed some untoward activities on his profile.

The southpaw’s account which has over 175K followers witnessed all the photos removed from his account. Instead, some random pictures were uploaded on his platform and it also for sale. This is something very dreadful for a player of Fakhar Zaman‘s stature.

Zaman’s teammate Shaheen Afridi took to Twitter to inform the news. He also asked Instagram to restore the account of the batsman, whom he said was the pride of Pakistan and many youngsters look up to him.

“Hi @instagram, the insta account of Pakistan National pride & cricket player, Fakhar Zaman has been hacked. His insta account is FakharZaman719 and its verified. A lot of people look up to him. Can you please look into this and help him in getting it back? Many thanks!,” Afridi tweeted.

Fakhar Zaman has been a star opener for Pakistan ever since he made his debut for his country. Moreover, he is the only Pakistan batsman to score a double century in the ODIs. The left-hander has scored 1828 runs in 44 ODIs including four centuries and an average of 45.70 and strike rate of 96.21. Zaman had an awful World Cup campaign and will hope to bounce back soon.
