Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting in a recent interview said that Pakistan is a blessed country, as they have various options in bowlers, who can clock the ball at the speed of 140-150kph. The 33-year-old is currently plying his trade for Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Quetta Gladiators.

In his interview, Cutting also discussed the nature of PSL as a league. It’s a well-known fact that the PSL is different from other T20 leagues across the world, while the Australian player also revealed how difficult it is for a bowler to play in Pakistan.

Low slow wickets difficult for bowlers: Ben Cutting

Having represented Australia 11 times across limited-overs formats, Cutting is currently in Pakistan, where he talked about the country’s fortunes in having multiple pace options, and the nature of PSL as a league.

“It’s very strong, the PSL. It’s a difficult game for batters and bowler. You do get low slow wickets which is difficult for the bowlers, and then you get beautiful wickets for batters where [the] boundaries are small and you have your backs up against the wall as a bowler,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

The right-arm pacer further added, “What sticks out for me the most is how many fast bowlers you have. I don’t think you realize how blessed you are as a country to have so many guys who can bowl 140-150kph.”
