Pakistan’s Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry continued his anti-India propaganda on Twitter on Tuesday too. The Pakistani politician was all over the news recently for all the wrong reasons after posting a series of vile tweets using the hashtag ‘India Failed’ after ISRO lost contact with Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram Lander.

He was later brutally trolled for his classless tweet. But Fawad Chaudhry seems to have learned little from his past tweets as he once again risked facing the wrath of the Indians with another controversial tweet. In the wake of several Sri Lankan players’ decision to not travel to Pakistan due to security reasons, Fawad Chaudhry absurdly blamed India for the same.

He took to Twitter to post a ridiculous message, saying that India have threatened Sri Lankan players. The minister said that India asked the Sri Lankan players not to travel to Pakistan or else risk an IPL deal.

“Informed sports commentators told me that India threatened SL players that they ll be ousted from IPL if they don’t refuse Pak visit, this is really cheap tactic, jingoism from sports to space is something we must condemn, really cheap on the part of Indian sports authorities,” wrote Fawad Chaudhry.

Sri Lanka will be missing considerable firepower on their upcoming limited-overs tour of Pakistan. As many as ten players have pulled out of the series due to security reasons. The ten players are  T20I skipper Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Suranga Lakmal, Dimuth Karunaratne, Thisara Perera, Akila Dhananjaya, Dhananjaya de Silva, Kusal Perera and Niroshan Dickwella.

Out of these ten players, only Malinga had an IPL deal this year. But then again, Fawad Chaudhry’s recent tweets have proved that he does not think twice before putting anything on Twitter. Meanwhile, the series is set to go ahead as scheduled despite ten players backing out.
