Of late, especially, after the ball-tampering saga, Australia has never displayed their top-class cricket. In fact, they haven’t won a single series after the ban on Steven Smith and David Warner, which shows how pathetic situation Cricket Australia is facing currently. Meanwhile, Chris Lynn makes his voice on the recent tour to the UAE.

Meanwhile, Chris Lynn got named in the ODI and T20I squads in the series against South Africa. Speaking of the previous tour to the UAE, Chris Lynn feels Australia had played pretty poor and reckless cricket against Pakistan.

We want to play fearless Cricket – Chris Lynn

The swashbuckling batsman quoted the team mistook the term fearless cricket to reckless cricket, which saw the other side of the things for the team. Further, he added the team to take the calculated risks rather than going after everything.

He went on to add saying they should bat without bringing any ego factor into the game. Lynn also spoke about his batting position and wants to play the positive brand of cricket.

“We just played reckless cricket over in the UAE. We want to play fearless cricket, not reckless. I think there’s a massive difference there. So for us, it’s about going out there trying to dominate, and taking calculated risks. We’ve always tried to play a positive brand of cricket. Throwing the first punch in a one-dayer is always handy, but with that comes risk as well,” Chris Lynn quoted while speaking to Cricket.com.au.

”We want to try and minimise the risk; over in the UAE we probably took too many risks, so maybe put our egos aside a little bit and just bat. I’m hoping to bounce back as quickly as possible. I’m happy to bat anywhere in the green and gold. Preferably I’d like to be up at the top, but wherever JL (coach Justin Langer) sees fit, I’m happy to play that role,” he added.

However, it seems like Chris Lynn is pretty much determined to deliver the goods for the team in the upcoming series. It would be interesting to where he bats in the 50-over format of the game.
