Pakistan vs Australia 2018: Shoaib Malik Delighted with T20I Series Win

Pakistan veteran cricketer, Shoaib Malik praised the entire team along with every single member after they whitewashed Australia in the T20Is. However, Pakistan completely outplayed Australia in the Tests and T20Is. They convincingly beat Australia 1-0 in the two-match Test series and whitewashed them 3-0 in T20I series. The Men in Green won the last and final T20 match by 33 runs.

Moreover, all-rounder, Shoaib Malik scored 18 runs and surpassed Brendon McCullum to become the second highest run-scorer in T20I history. Meanwhile, Pakistan has been under some pressure to perform across formats for a while. However, with the way they had outsmarted Australia in the UAE, they would have gained some confidence.

Furthermore, Shoaib Malik posted a tweet keeping in mind about the humiliation and showed Pakistan’s previous results.

However, Australia couldn’t perform well throughout the series. They only managed to draw the first Test with the help of Usman Khawaja who batted excellently. Then the visitors got thrashed by 373 runs in the second Test. Moreover, the Baggy Green couldn’t cope up against Pakistan in the shortest format of the game. Pakistan beat Australia by 66 runs in the first T20I followed by a second win by 11 runs saw them by 33 runs in the dead rubber match of the series.

Now, the Pakistani team will next play with New Zealand at the United Arab Emirates (UAE). They will play three T20Is, three ODIs and three Tests against the Kiwis. On the other hand, India will tour to Australia for three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs.
