Pakistan and Australia will square off in the second T20I at Dubai. Men in Green has already taken a 1-0 lead after winning the first match by a big margin of 66 runs. Thus, Australia will like to keep breathing in the series whereas Pakistan will like to take an impregnable lead in the three-match series. Australia didn’t tick the right boxes in the first match. Thus, the visitors will like to make a solid comeback.

Meanwhile, Pakistan played like a number one side in the T20I format. They got off to a good start as Babar Azam continued his good form going. The talisman right-hander had scored a fine knock of 68 runs and would like to continue his good touch.

However, Pakistan’s middle order could not apply the finishing touches as no batsmen touched double digit score except Hasan Ali.

Therefore, Pakistan will like to come up with a better execution in the second half of their batting innings. On the other hand, nothing right is going for the Australian team. In fact, there is no doubt that they are low on confidence. It was a poor batting performance from the tourists and Aaron Finch will like to turn the tables.

The visitors went down like a house of cards in the first match and will know that the second match is going to be a do or die affair. Imad Wasim was able to return to action in style as the southpaw spinner scalped three wickets and breathed down the neck of the visitor’s batsmen.

Australia will like to bat with more responsibility. They were not able to bring any contest to the table and would like to come up with a far better show.

However, there were some positives for the visitors as well. Billy Stanlake had scalped three wickets and bowled his heart out. Furthermore, Andrew Tye also continued his good form going in the shortest form of the game.
