Perhaps, Prithvi Shaw is enjoying the greatest time of his life. Of late, he has become the regular headliner with some other news on a regular basis. Meanwhile, in the latest, the youngster was surprised with the visit of Gundappa Vishwanath, who made his time to catch up with Prithvi Shaw. The Mumbai batsman scored a fine hundred on his debut as he scored 134 in the first Test match against Windies.

Prithvi Shaw made a sensational debut and also received the man of the match in the first match and man of the series awards for his scintillating performance. Then he carried the form in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 to play his part in Mumbai’s success.

The former great quoted that he decided to meet the youngster when he came to know the visit of Prithvi Shaw to Bangalore. He gave his best wishes to the youngster and also congratulated him for heroics on his debut game.

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old prodigy quoted that he is delighted to meet with the legendary player of the game. He was all praise for the legend for his brilliant gesture towards him.

“When I learnt Prithvi was playing in Bengaluru, I decided to meet him,” Viswanath told TOI. “I congratulated the youngster on his fantastic debut and for joining the club. In fact, I told him he was only the second Indian to join the club after 49 years. I wished him luck and told him that this is just the beginning. I hope he goes on to score many more centuries,” Gundappa Vishwanath said.

“It was a dream come true to meet GR Viswanath sir, who is a legend of the game,” Prithvi Shaw, who is pretty much excited after meeting the iconic cricketer quoted.

However, Prithvi Shaw has received a brilliant gesture from one of the greats of the game. As Vishwanath termed, hopefully, the youngster would grow from strength to strength to bring laurels to the country.
