PSL 2018: When a Batsman Hit a Six But He was Adjudged Out

It was a frustrating moment for the Quetta Gladiators batsman Anwar Ali during a Pakistan Super League match against the Peshawar Zalmi at the Sharjah International Stadium on Thursday night. The batsman was hit wicket during the match of the bowling of Wahab Riaz.

To make matter worse for the batsman he had actually struck the ball brilliantly. It went sailing over the mid-wicket boundary for a six. However, while attempting the shot he had stepped back on to the stumps. It was his back leg which dislodged a bail. Even as the spectators were celebrating the six, umpire Aleem Dar noticed the incident and adjudged him out.

Peshawar Zalmi wins the match

Eventually, the match was won by the Peshawar Zalmi by 5 wickets. Skipper Darren Sammy came good towards the end stages with a blistering 16.
