PSL 2018: Twitter Goes Gaga over Shahid Afridi's One handed Stunner

Over the years cricketers have taken some incredible catches and have left the fans awestruck. Something of the similar sort happened on Friday when star Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi left the fans mesmerized.

Shahid Afridi took a blinder on long on.

Afridi took a one-handed blinder against Quetta Gladiator in the second match of the third season of Pakistan Super League at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.

Karachi Kings eventually won the match by 19 runs as they restricted Quetta Gladiators on 140/9 who were chasing 150.

Batting first the Karachi Kings posted 149 in their quota of 20 overs.

Umar Amin was the unlucky batsman to be dismissed on the bowling of Mohammad Irfan. Amin who tried to hit the ball for a six over long-on but Shahid Afridi had different ideas as he extended his arm and caught the ball.

He then flipped the ball up as he unbalanced going into the boundary.

In the first innings, Colin Ingram top-scored for Karachi with 41 runs. At one stage, the Kings looked on course to post a massive total around 180 but failed to accelerate in the death overs.

Twitter went gaga over the catch and appreciated the effort by the veteran cricketer.
