Shahnawaz Dahani, who is a key player for Multan Sultans, has sustained a finger fracture in his bowling hand and will now need some time to recover.

In the opening match of PSL8, Dahani featured in Multan’s playing XI and bowled well, registering figures of 1 for 40. However, his team suffered a heartbreaking one-run defeat at the hands of Lahore Qalandars.

Multan Sultans Yet To Announce Shahnawaz Dahani’s Replacement

The Multan Sultans are set to face a significant setback in their Pakistan Super League campaign as Shahnawaz Dahani will be unable to play the remaining matches of the tournament due to a finger fracture in his bowling hand.

Shahnawaz Dahani’s absence is a major blow for the Sultans as he was one of their top performers last season, taking 17 wickets as the team finished at the top of the table before losing the final to Lahore Qalandars.

The confirmation of Dahani’s injury has come just a few hours before the Sultans’ second match of the season, which is against Quetta Gladiators in Multan. As of now, the team management has not announced a replacement player to fill the void left by Dahani.
