Afghanistan and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) prized possession, Rashid Khan, has been all over the news, since last night (Saturday), due to his superhuman performance against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

The Afghan teenage sensation was all over the Eden Gardens against the Knight Riders, with the bat, ball and on the field.

Sunrisers were tottering while batting first, with only 138 on the board, and their seven batsmen back in the hut.

Just when SRH were looking to crawl towards 150, Rashid cameo of 34, took his side to a match-winning 175. The leg-spinner then cliched the vital wickets of Lynn, Russell, and Uthappa – to break the spine of KKR’s batting line-up.

To add to KKR’s misery, he picked up a couple of crucial catches in the end and helped his side, walk into the finals with a 13-run win.

Twitter erupted with adulations for the promising youngsters from Afghanistan.

As a result, Rashid was busy the following day, replying to his well-wishers.
