Rashid Khan Priviledged to Be Leading the ICC Charts

There is no doubt about the fact that Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan is the next big thing in international cricket. The way he has bowled in both 50 overs format and the T20 format speaks volume about a 20-year-old who has already made himself one of the finest cricketers of his generation. He is a brilliant bowler especially in the limited overs format which has reflected in the ICC Rankings for bowlers.

He has also scored some handy runs for Afghanistan coming late in the batting order. Rashid has a wide range of shots up his sleeve and can really give a hammer to the opposition bowlers. During the recently concluded Asia Cup, Rashid Khan was up and running and was among the best performers for his nation in the tournament. He also contributed some vital runs as Afghanistan made it to the Super 4. Finally, they had to bow out of the tournament after losing two close matches against Pakistan and Bangladesh. However, they managed to tie the game against India which will give them huge confidence.
