Whenever we hear the name of Ravi Shastri and MS Dhoni together, straight away, the mind of fans will go back to 2011 when the current head coach was in the commentary section giving the much-needed decoration to the stunning knock played by Mahendra Singh Dhoni against Sri Lanka in ICC 2011 World Cup Final at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Well, coming back to the topic, the current head coach Ravi Shastri, who is with the Indian National Cricket Team at Ranchi met MS Dhoni on Day 4 of the Test match. The former Indian skipper visited the venue and spent quality time with the team in the dressing room.

Great to see MS Dhoni in his den – Ravi Shastri

Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri was quick in taking a photograph with the local hero, who got worldwide fans. Sharing the image with the fans, Ravi Shastri quoted that he is elated to meet the true Indian legend MS Dhoni in his home ground after a long time. The duo met in person for the first time after the conclusion of ICC World Cup 2019.

Ravi Shastri’s caption read ”Great to see a true Indian legend in his den after a fantastic series win.”

Coming to the match, the Indian National Cricket Team led by Virat Kohli sealed the series with 3-0. Thus, they also received 120 points for the series victory, which kept them on the top of the ICC World Test Championship.

It was quite a series for a lot of players in the team. Especially, Rohit Sharma, who smashed 529 runs in the 4 innings he played as an opener. The series also witnessed three double-century makers with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Mayank Agarwal knocking runs for the team.

For South Africa, not for a moment have the visitors looked in their elements over the last few weeks. There have been these occasional frustrating partnerships, especially for the 9th wicket, barring that, nothing at all.
