Indian National Cricket team off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin has called for a permanent solution to the terror problem in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack. Meanwhile, it has created a stir countrywide as a Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden car into a CRPF bus, killing at least 40 personnel and leaving many critically wounded. On the back of it, India have cut several ties with the neighbouring country.

The bus was on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Lethpora town, about 30 km from Srinagar when the attack took place. The entire nation mourned the death of their brave sons who lost thier lives in the Terror attack. Following the attack, India swiftly withdrew Pakistan’s Most Favoured Nation status, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that the perpetrators of the attack would pay a very heavy price.

Along with it, on Sunday, IMG-Reliance pulled out of its deal of television coverage of the ongoing PSL. Before IMGR, DSports also refused to broadcast any of the Pakistan games. The Indian National Cricket team players have also come in support of the jawans who lost their lives. In other show of protests, Cricket Club of India had covered the portrait of former Pakistan skipper Imran Khan in their restaurant. On Sunday, the PCA stadium in Mohali had removed the pictures of the Pakistani players.

Ashwin wants a permanent solution

While many have urged for a clear war on Pakistan, Ravichandran Ashwin has asked for a permanent solution to this problem. He noted that these kinds of events have been taking place quite frequently and it should end. He also added that the lives of the brave souls should not go in vain.

As families try to bear the loss of their dear ones, these sort of incidences have been happening far too frequently and I really hope that there is a permanent solution achieved. The blood shed by our Jawans should at least matter for the cause. Jai Hind #Pulawamaattack,” Ravichandran Ashwin tweeted.
