Ravichandran Ashwin Hilariously Trolls His Wife Prithi After She Asks Him About Wedding Anniversary Plans

India star Ravichandran Ashwin is known for his witty posts on Twitter. The off-spinner has a fine sense of humour and his wife Prithi Ashwin recently got a taste of it. It all started when Ravichandran Ashwin took to Twitter to interact with his fans and followers. The spinner started a question and answer session on Twitter, asking his fans to post questions.

The fans duly obliged and asked the spinner about his playing career as well his life away from the field. But the one question that caught everyone’s attention was from his wife Prithi. She hilariously asked her husband to reveal his plans about their upcoming wedding anniversary. The love birds will celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary on November 13. Ashwin and Prithvi had tied the knot on November 13 in 2011.

Well, the spinner will be indeed in Indore on November 13 for the upcoming first Test against Bangladesh. The game will start on November 14 before Eden Gardens hosts the much-awaited second Test from November 22. The second and final game of the series will be a day-night affair. Both India and Bangladesh will make their debuts in day-night Test through the upcoming match.

Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab have trade Ravichandran Ashwin to Delhi Capitals. The franchise announced the decision last week, thus putting an end to all the speculations surrounding the spinner’s future in IPL.  With Ravichandran Ashwin moving to Delhi Capitals from Kings XI Punjab, left-arm spinner J Suchith has headed in the opposite direction. Delhi have also paid Kings XI an additional sum of INR 1.5 crores as part of the exchange.

Ashwin led the Kings XI in last two seasons but without much success. Kings XI failed to make it to the playoffs in either of the two seasons. In two seasons, he picked up 25 wickets for the side. Overall, the 33-year old is one of the most consistent performers in IPL since making his debut in 2009. So far, he has picked up 125 wickets from 139 games at an excellent economy rate of 6.79.
