While Ravichandran Ashwin has managed to shut his trolls on the majority or shall we say on all the occasions on Twitter but the Indian spinner was on the receiving end on Thursday (September 14) when his advertisement gimmick backfired miserably.
It all began when Ashwin took to Twitter to promote newly-launched mobile Redmi Note 4 as he tweeted: “There’s often a debate on reading my carrom ball but, there are some things jinpe #KoiDebateNahi! Redmi Note4: India’s No.1 selling smartphone.”
However, his tweet did not go down well with the fans as he ended up getting trolled by them. One user trolled the ace spinner for promoting Redmi Note 4 through an iPhone.

Meanwhile, the off-spinner is currently plying his trade for Worcestershire in England’s domestic circuit. As a result, the 30-year old, who missed the limited-overs series in Sri Lanka, has not been included in the team for the first three One-Day Internationals of the upcoming five-match series against Australia.
