Ravichandran Ashwin Thanks His Wife For All the Support On Their Anniversary

Ravichandran Ashwin has been India’s prime wicket-taker in Test cricket for almost a decade now and has been a significant factor for India’s success at home in the longest format. The off-spinner has always been an introvert regarding his personal life. However, he has been quite expressive on social media and has rarely missed on wishing his near ones on any occasion.

On the occasion of his sixth wedding anniversary, Ashwin took to Twitter this morning and thanked his wife for supporting him during the hard times and staying by his side. He wrote:

 “It’s been 6 years since we got married @prithinarayanan and it’s passed by so quickly, thanks for being there with me through thick and thin.”

Ashwin has been picked for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka which is scheduled to begin from 16^th November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Ashwin along with Jadeja was dropped from the Indian limited overs set up as Indian selectors cited that the duo has been dropped due to heavy workload and have been rested not dropped. However, since India’s last Test series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, India has played three limited overs series and the duo did not play in any of the series.

Ashwin and Jadeja will be looking forward to proving their mettle in the upcoming Test series and prove a case for themselves for the limited over format once again.
