Ravindra Jadeja's wife, Riva Solanki, beaten up by a cop, post accident

In recent developments, Ravindra Jadeja’s better half, Riva Solanki, was reportedly slapped by a police official in Jamnagar.

Apparently, the wife of the Chennai Super Kings all-rounder, who was driving her car,  met with an accident with a police constable riding on a bike.

After falling to the ground, the constable started physically assaulting Jadeja’s wife.

On account of the eyewitnesses, the accident was a minor one, in contrast to the reaction from the police official.

The entire fiasco unravelled in front of the police headquarters at Jamnagar, Gujarat.

According to reports, the constable yelled at Riva Solanki for not driving carefully, which initiated a verbal duel between the two.

It is learnt that when the incident took place, the official wasn’t on duty, donning a civil dress.

However, Jadeja’s wife has been wounded only superficially, as reported by Wah Cricket.

India’s Test specialist, Ravindra Jadeja, is now part of the Chennai Superkings campaign in the IPL under talismanic skipper MS Dhoni.

CSK ended up second in the points table by defeating Kings XI Punjab in the ultimate match of the round-robin league.

The men in yellow now face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first qualifiers of the playoffs. Also, the match is scheduled to be held at Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.
