Reports - Mohammed Shami Asks for Extra-Security after Alleged Death Threats

It has been a tough last one year for Mohammed Shami. Ever since his wife Hasin Jahan made allegations on him, the life became tough for the fast bowler. It not only flattened him personally but also professionally. Meanwhile, in the latest development, the fast bowler requested the government for security after death threats from his wife.

If the reports in the popular news channel, Aaj Tak are to be believed, Shami cited enough proofs for the government regarding the death threats. Further, he asked to send a rifleman to give him an extra-security.

Recently, Mohammed Shami had won the maintenance case against Hasin Jahan. She has demanded maintenance of 10 lakhs per month. However, the honourable court declined the case but adjudged Shami to pay INR 80,000 for his child.

Tough times ahead for Mohammed Shami-

Despite bailing out from the maintenance case, Hasin Jahan has alleged a lot of cases on Indian fast bowler who needs to get resolved. She put a domestic violence case followed it up with the allegations on match-fixing and adultery.

He has been put out of the game for a few days after Hasin Jahan’s allegation. However, the inquiry by the BCCI officials came positive for Shami, as he got selected for South Africa and England tour.

Coming to his cricketing career, the right-handed fast bowler needs to perform his skin out to find a place in the upcoming 2019 World Cup. With Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar and Umesh pretty much confirmed their spots, Shami needs to bowl magical spells in the domestic circuit to attract the selectors.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami has been picked for the Test series against Windies. His presence in the Indian team for Australia tour will pretty much rely on his performance against Windies in the coming few days.
