Revealed: The Secret Behind The Autograph On Virat Kohli's Thigh Pads

Virat Kohli’s amazing fashion sense will probably give even the Bollywood actors a run for their money. The dashing batsman loves to flaunt the most modern of dresses and has become a style icon of this cricket-crazy nation. However, the same cannot be said when it comes to sporting gears as the India skipper loves to don the tried and tested brands.

One of those gears is obviously his thigh guard with an interesting autograph on it. Well, given that majority of cricketers are superstitious, many fans believe that Kohli dons those unique thigh pads as a good luck charm while some even think that the pads have been signed by none other than his girlfriend Anushka Sharma.

Now that the fans are speculating different things, it is high time that you all get to know about the secret behind that autograph. The autograph belongs to Steve Remfry who has been producing custom made arm guards, thigh pads, chest guards, inside thigh pads and shin guards for the famous cricketers since 1987. Remfry’s company has provided gears to some of the biggest cricketers in the history of the game like Allan Border, Graham Gooch, Sunil Gavaskar and Shane Warne amongst many.

According to media reports, Kohli also wanted to try them and ordered two pairs of the guard. It is believed that the India skipper instantly liked it.
