Rishabh Pant has become the regular headliner in the Indian Cricket. The flamboyant batsman, who got exceptional talent, is failing on a regular basis to shut the critics. Already, there have been a few warnings from the management to the youngster. Meanwhile, the former bowler Zaheer Khan asks the management to use Rishabh Pant in a different way.

Of late, Rishabh Pant is being asked to bat at number 4 for the team in shorter formats of the game. It is a position, which requires a lot of experience in handling the things as per the need of the hour. Speaking of the same, Zaheer Khan Feels India should stop sending Rishabh at number 4.

Rishabh Pant natural style is to attack – Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan wants Rishabh Pant to be free from all sort of stuff and wants him to hit the ball without any further considerations. He believes the change in the slot would work better for the youngster, who possesses an incredible talent in his kitty.

“The team management should try and use him where you get the best out of him. I think his natural style is to attack. So he needs to be used where he is not left in two minds. And, where he knows the only thing he needs to do is the attack. If he is used in such situations, it would be good for him,” Zaheer was quoted as saying in a report.

“With time, he will have a better understanding of his game. And also, everyone knows the ability this player has. I think everyone has to try and make things easier for him,” he added.

Rishabh Pant may have established himself as the front-runner to succeed MS Dhoni as the regular wicket-keeper for the Indian cricket team but the youngster’s journey has not been without its fair share of criticism. The youngster has come under a lot of fire for his reckless shot selection and the last few matches have not yielded the desired result for Pant.
