Kagiso Rabada is turning out to be a very animated character on the field. Getting into trouble with the opposition players is becoming a habit for the youngster.

Despite being charged in the first innings for a send-off to Steven Smith after dismissing him, Rabada couldn’t control his emotions even in the 2nd innings. After castling David Warner, yet again Rabada gave an animated send off to Warner and was charged with Level 1 offence.

It is not the first time Rabada got involved in an altercation. He is set to miss the next two encounters which will be a big setback for the home team.

The youngster has been a sensational performer for the Proteas. However, he needs to curb his emotions and start behaving maturely in the playing arena.

Rabada has already received five demerit points

Rabada already received five demerit points against his name. Three among those five points happened last February when he made contact with Sri Lankan batsman Niroshan Dickwella, as the ICC said it was an “avoidable contact”.

He was further suspended for a solitary Test against England last year and also received a demerit point. He used foul language all through the match. It was the 1st Test in Lords when Rabada screamed “F**k off after dismissing Ben Stokes.

Rabada picked up five demerit points last month. In 2016 he was again cited for foul language. Shikhar Dhawan was the batsman.

Even in the opening Test, David Warner was involved in an altercation with Quinton de Kock. There have been several altercations in these two Tests so far.

Meanwhile, former English batsman Kevin Pietersen said he was tired of all these sledgings. Taking to his twitter handle he wrote,

“SICK & TIRED of sledging chat still going on! It’s TEST cricket. You’re not going to stop it! Red-blooded males going head to head in a sporting arena. Tempers will flare! Let them sort it out themselves! They’re all big boys.
