India captain Virat Kohli has dropped a hint regarding India’s combination for the third Test scheduled to begin on 24th January after looking at the pitch at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.
The pitch curator at the Centurion came under the scrutiny of the South African captain Faf Du Plessis who was heavily in favour of pacey and bouncy pitches before the start of the series.

South Africa won the second Test by 135 runs at the Supersport Park in Centurion, but the Proteas skipper highly criticised the pitch curator for preparing an ‘uncharacteristic’ Centurion wicket and more of a subcontinent wicket. However, the Indian team could not take much advantage of the conditions.

However, looking at the Johannesburg wicket, the batsmen must find a hiding place for themselves. The Proteas are looking for perfect revenge of the drubbing they faced in India in 2015. Problems for Team India as the chief curator at the Wanderers, Bethuel Buthelezi has said the pitch will not assist any spin and will favour the fast bowlers.
Indian batsmen surrendered against the Proteas fast bowling department, and this news will vary them even more before the start of the third Test.

In the press conference before the start of the third Test, Indian skipper Kohli left a hint that the tourist might go in with an all-pace attack in the third Test. India has already lost the three-match Test series will be looking forward to salvaging some pride in the third and final Test and avoid a whitewash.
Virat Kohli in PC, when asked about India going with an all-pace attack on green-top at Wanderers: "Chances of anything happening are very bright. There is lot of grass on pitch. We will definitely look at that option." #SAvInd
