SA vs IND, 2018: Virat Kohli reveals the number of years left in his career

The purple patch for Virat Kohli in South Africa continued in the sixth One-day International too, as he notched up his 35th ODI century at the Supersport Park in Centurion on Friday. Kohli scored his second hundred in the last three 50-over fixtures.
The Indian captain scored 129 off 96 deliveries and completed his 35th ODI century in the sixth ODI which was also his third century in the six-match ODI series.
Kohli amassed 558 runs in the six matches which is the highest ever scored by a batsman in a bilateral series.
Kohli set some astonishing records on the current tour of South Africa. The Indian skipper has scored 844 runs on this current tour of the Rainbow nation.
The next best on this tour was Shikhar Dhawan with 355 runs followed by Rohit Sharma with 248 runs and Ajinkya Rahane 182 runs.
Kohli made his international debut in 2008 and in one decade of his playing he has certainly made a name for himself as the greatest ever ODI batsman.
In the post-match interview, Kohli revealed the number of years left in his career. Kohli said, “I have got eight or nine years left in my career and I want to make the most of every day. It’s a blessing that I am healthy and getting to captain my country.”
“It was a day where I felt really good. Last game, I was not in the right kind of mindset. This is a beautiful place to bat under lights. That’s the idea behind bowling first. I like setting up for the short ball. It was a blessing in disguise, and they kept bowling short. I think the pitch got better to bat on under lights,” Kohli concluded.
