South Africa put up a brilliant show in the second game at Centurion to crawl back in the series. Meanwhile, the series is now level at 1-1 with the final game on Saturday at Cape Town.

The Proteas batsmen outclassed the Indian bowlers for the first time in the limited-over games. Especially, Yuzvendra Chahal went for 64 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Heinrich Klaasen struck 41 runs off 12 balls from Chahal.

South Africa banked on their skipper JP Duminy (64*) and Klaasen (69) to cross the line with 8 deliveries to spare.

However, it is likely that South Africa will not change their winning combination for the series decider. Duminy & Co will field the same XI from the second game to continue their winning run.

Here is the predicted XI of South Africa for the final match of the tour:

JJ Smuts has made for himself in the shortest form as a swashbuckling opener. He can hit the ball long and has the ability to give his team a fiery start.

However, he has come short in this series so far. Smuts will look to make up in the third and final game of the series. The team will bank on him and Reeza Hendricks to take to provide a strong lay-off to the middle order.

Reeza Hendricks has shown his ability at the top-order in both the fixtures. He is a good hitter of the ball and can use the powerplay to good effect.

Meanwhile, South Africa will need him to come good once again in the series decider. Also, he will look to shrug of his inconsistent tagline scoring runs regularly

Duminy led the team from the front with both bat and ball as South Africa beat India by six wickets. Duminy picked the crucial wicket of Shikhar Dhawan and then followed it up with a match-winning knock of 64. Further, he played the waiting game holding strong at one end.

However, South Africa will want him to come good once again if they want to win the series.

David Miller:

The swashbuckling middle-order batsman, Miller is a notable failure for South Africa throughout the tour. The southpaw is capable of winning the match at his own will, however, is going through a bad patch.

It will be a positive for South Africa if Miller gets going in the final game.

Heinrich Klaasen (WK):

The young wicket-keeper batsman stood out for South Africa in this series. Getting his opportunity in the midway through the ODI series, he grabbed his opportunity with both hands.

However, Klaasen played a magical knock in the last game to take his team closer to victory. He scored 69 runs from just 30 balls including three boundaries and four sixes. South Africa will want him to continue his good form.

The low-profile all-rounder has done justice to his role so far in the series. He has chipped in with quick runs at the fag of the innings. Behardien has an outstanding record in the franchise cricket to back his ability.

Meanwhile, he is a regular feature in this format for South Africa and has done well in the national colors.

Chris Morris:

The all-rounder has an impressive record to back his ability in this format. However, he has lacked consistency for his country.

Further, Morris will look to help his team to put some good cricket to win the series after a humiliating loss in the fifty-overs format.

Phehlukwayo has shown a lot of prospect in his early days. He has the ability to strike well and can chip in with crucial wickets. Although, he has a habit of lacking runs he is a good player to have in the shortest format.

Phehlukwayo had an average series so far, however, will be eager to change the fortunes both for him and his team.

Dane Paterson:

South Africa has gone in with a new seaming attack for this series. They have rested their premier bowlers with the Australia Test series looming ahead.

Paterson has not been impressive at all in this series so far and has gone for plenty. However, he will look to pick up at the right time of the series and provide some important breakthroughs to his team.

Junior Dala:

The right-arm fast bowler has had a good start to his international career. So far, he has picked four wickets in this series and has looked good in front of a star-studded Indian batting line-up.

Meanwhile, South Africa will want him to fire once again the series-decider to rattle India’s top-order early.

Tabraiz Shamsi:

The left-arm unorthodox spinner needs to produce same feats as his counterpart from the Indian team has done in the ODI series. However, spinners have suffered so far in this series with the boundaries being too small.

Shamsi needs to produce a superlative effort in the final game to help his team inch closer towards the trophy.
