The relationship which began with a television commercial, faced the heat from the fans and withstood the testing times finally culminated into the wedding as India skipper Virat Kohli married his long-term girlfriend Anushka Sharma on Monday (December 11).

The lavish wedding ceremony took place at Borgo Finocchieto, a countryside resort in Italy which also happens to be one of the most expensive holiday properties in the world. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family and as a result, not many had any idea about it before the couple took to Twitter to confirm the news.
