Firstly, it was all for his good work on the field, during the ICC World Cup league stage matches. Later, he got the congratulations from across the world for his wholehearted performance in the final of the World Cup, which was eventually won by England on a boundary count.

However, within few days, he was once again on the news, for trying to be funny in a tweet, where he used the Indian skipper name Virat Kohli to show his funnier side to the world. However, it didn’t reach to the fans well, who gave it back to the all-rounder. The cricketer has explained the tweet in details after a lot of ruckus in social media.

Now, once again, he is on the news, however, this time, his sarcasm was well received by the fans. In a live chat on Instagram ahead of flying to Carribean Premier League 2019, he was asked to answer his favourite Indian Cricketer. In reply, Jimmy Neesham comes up with a cheeky comment.

He answered ”Ish Sodhi” as his favourite Indian cricketer. The leg-spinner roots are from India, who then shifted to New Zealand and selected to be part of their national team. The funny answer might have impressed a few fans while the answer to the question is still unrevealed.

Currently, Jimmy Neesham is one of the best all-rounders available for New Zealand. Neesham was omitted from New Zealand’s 15-man 2015 World Cup squad, an act that drew criticism from experts. But, the enthusiastic Neesham accepted the fact cheerfully and continued to amuse everyone with his hard work.
