Who Is He? Says Raai Laxmi When Asked About Ex-Boyfriend MS Dhoni

After keeping one and all guessing over her relationship with former India star MS Dhoni, Bollywood actress Raai Laxmi has said the relationship is a thing of past now and everyone needs to move on.

The past relationship between the two was not in limelight but with Raai Laxmi’s debut Bollywood film ‘ Julie 2’ all set to hit the theaters in the coming days, the actress as well as her past relationship with the former India captain is once again in focus. The World Cup-winning captain has never spoken on the relationship but the actress has continuously insisted that she was in relationship with the batting star. She had claimed that she started dating Dhoni during the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League in 2008. Dhoni was the captain of the Chennai Super Kings and Raai Laxmi was serving as the brand ambassador for the franchise.

And while Raai Laxmi has refrained from making any comment on her past relationship in recent times, she had no way out but to speak about Dhoni after being asked about the relationship during the promotional event of her movie.

Who’s he?,” she jokingly said about Dhoni before adding: “This needs to have a full stop. It was a long time ago, he is happily married now, he has kids. Everybody knows everybody in today’s world and you may end up with a person tomorrow whom you don’t know today. It is the process of life and certain things don’t work out, and then you have to move on.”

She also sounded frustrated that despite being in several relations after breaking up with Dhoni, she is always asked about the Indian player.

When asked where she meant that she was not dating the cricket legend, she said: “It is not about dating or not dating. But people had quickly taken it to a level that I was going to get married to him- and that was simply not true. The hype got us into an awkward space and that is why I do not talk to the media much about thus– but I am talking a bit now. I do not want to speak about him in detail because I respect him a lot.”
