Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently managed to charm cricket fans after giving a heartwarming reply when he was asked to pick one between current Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and former captain MS Dhoni. The actor who gave a blockbuster hit film ‘Kabir Singh’ in 2019, gave a befitting reply to his fans.

Shahid Kapoor is under isolation at the moment, as the spread of Coronavirus has halted his movie shootings and other engagements. Therefore, the 39-year-old was doing a live chat on micro-blogging website Twitter, and he was asked to pick one between Dhoni and Kohli, and his answer will leave you in splits instead.

Mummy or Papa: Shahid Kapoor on being asked to pick one between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli

Shahid came up with a fantastic reply when being asked to pick between two greats of the Indian team. He replied: “Mummy or Papa” (Mother or Father). The actor did just enough to win the hearts of cricket fans, also giving away the message that both Dhoni and Kohli have their own importance.

Dhoni meanwhile, hasn’t played for India, since the semifinal of World Cup 2019. He did join up with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) training camp ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) but the season itself got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. He is currently training in his hometown Ranchi.

Kohli has come under criticism after seeing his side getting whitewashed by New Zealand lately. There have been calls to replace him as captain of the team, and instead promote Rohit Sharma, who currently serves as the vice-captain.

In the meantime, India’s ODI series with South Africa has been called off due to fears surrounding the Coronavirus.
