Shikhar Dhawan is an indispensable part of India’s limited-overs format. While he made his ODI debut in 2010, it was not before 2013 he proved himself in international cricket. He starred for the Men in Blue in the triumphant 2013 Champions Trophy and has not looked back since then.

His record in ICC tournaments is absolutely stunning. Before the start of the 2019 World Cup, Shikhar Dhawan had scored 1,113 runs at an average of 65.47 in 18 games. In those 18 games, he scored five centuries and four half-centuries. In the 2019 World Cup too he scored a century against Australia before a finger injury ruled him out of the tournament.

During his illustrious international career so far, Shikhar Dhawan also forged very successful partnerships with the likes of his opening partner Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. And he recently revealed his favourite batting partner. With no action going on at the moment due to the pandemic, the India opener held a question-answer session on Instagram. One of the followers asked him to name his favourite batting partner and the opener duly obliged.
