Watch: Shoaib Malik smashes six sixes in T10 game against Babar Azam

In the T20 charity match ‘’Hope Not Out’ at Faisalabad Pakistan star all-rounder Shoaib Malik has set the unique record in the country by smashing six sixes in an over – to grind the Shahid Afridi Foundation’s (SAF) Green team.

Interestingly, Malik’s national teammate Babar Azam came to bowl the seventh over of Shahid Afridi Foundation’s Red (SAF) team when the side already raced to 104 in six overs.

By the end of seven overs, the right-handed Malik saw the team total to 140 in seven overs, as the match was telecasted by Geo Tv’s sister concern Geo Super Productions.

The power-hitting has not only entertained the crowd but the on-field umpire, opposition wicketkeeper also burst into laughter when Malik completed the rare feat of six sixes on six balls.

The 23-year-old Lahore-born Azam bowls off-spin. He was bowling at the wide of the crease which further saw him being conceded runs at will.

Unstoppable Malik makes things ridiculously easy when he smashed the first ball of Azam straight down the ground before dispatching next three deliveries on the on-side region while clearing his front-leg to make most of the deliveries.

However, the fifth delivery was sent to long off region before the sixth delivery was again dispatched into the on-side region.

The 35-year-old Sialkot-born Malik blasted 84 runs off 20 balls while representing in the charity fixture for former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi’s non-profit organization.

The culprit in the form of Azam smashed 26-ball hundred before trying with his off-spin bowling which further set a dubious record for him in such a newest format.

While having the quality experience on his back, Malik knows what it takes to score runs at the brisk pace.

Malik’s blazing knock saw his team racked up 201 runs in 10 overs owing to the newest format.
