Of late, Sri Lankan Cricket is undergoing all kind of trouble. They are coming through a lot of drama of the field and a series of bans and punishments followed as well. Meanwhile, the latest to enter the list is right-handed fast bowler Lahiru Kumara, who broke the Code of Conduct ahead of the first Test against England. Dushmantha Chameera is asked to replace his teammate.

The youngster has been ousted from the team ahead of the first Test at Galle. He is replaced by the premium fast bowler Duhsmantha Chameera, who has been decent in his recent International stint.

Though the exact news is yet to be revealed, it is learned that Lahiru Kumara has failed to follow the team’s code of conduct at Galle. Thus, he has been asked to leave the team for the first Test against England.

First Test to be played at Galle:

After a fine ODI series and one-off T20I, both the teams will clash in the longest version of the game. Both the teams are marred with injuries to their key players. However, they still got the players, who can spice up the game.

Meanwhile, the first Test will also see the retirement of the veteran Rangana Herath. The legendary cricketer has made an incredible service to his country after the retirement of Muttiah Muralitharan.

Rangana Herath was benched most of the times during his initial days, as Muralitharan was always the prime weapon for Sri Lanka. However, he showed his mojo once he got the place in the side.

Meanwhile, there is a rain threat for the Galle Test as well, which has always been the major concern in Sri Lanka. Hopefully, rain stays away to bid a grand farewell to the legendary spinner.
