The former legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar said former Australian skipper Steven Smith and David Warner are world class players. Both Smith and Warner have proven their mantle and they have blown their trumpet in all the conditions. However, both the talisman players are currently serving their ban of ball tampering scandal.

Steven Smith was at the top of the rankings when he was found guilty. He had a fine Ashes series, however, he made a huge mistake on the South African tour. David Warner was also instrumental in the success of Australia.

Steven Smith and David Warner were Australia’s linchpins.

Meanwhile, India is going to tour Australia for three T20Is, four Test matches, and three One-Dayers. Thus, the hosts are dearly going to miss the services of their linchpin batsmen. However, the Master Blaster want to see good cricket in Australia.

“I would want to see good cricket for sure (in Australia). They both (Smith and Warner) are world-class players. So I don’t want to get into that debate whether the ban should be reduced or not,” before adding, “But I would like to see them, but by no means, I am saying or interfering in what their judgment has been. All I am saying in both are world-class players,” said Tendulkar after the first India camp of the Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Australian Cricket has been hit hard by the ball-tampering scandal as they don’t have the services of their key players. Furthermore, the other players have gone through the mental pressure. On the other hand, the banned trio has dealt with public humiliation.
