Perhaps, Sreesanth would fall under those unfortunate cricketers’ category, who are carrying the charges for not committing the crime (As High Court declared). Sreesanth was arrested in a spot-fixing case and was handed life ban.

However, the justice came in his way when he fought legally with BCCI. Despite judgement came on his side, BCCI never allowed him to play the game, as they wanted to follow zero-tolerance policy.

In fact, BCCI hasn’t allowed him to travel and play for UK Cricket clubs as well. Sreesanth got the offer from Scotish club to play for their side but unfortunately, Sreesanth failed to make it, as BCCI objected it.

Sreesanth’s lawyer called for a quick judgement:

Meanwhile, the Kerala fast bowler, who is desperate to play his favourite game wants to challenge his case in Supreme Court. The decision will be taken by Ashok Bhushan and Hemant Gupta.

Senior Advocate Salman Khurshid will be representing Sreesanth in the court, who asked for a quick judgement, as Sreesanth is already 35-year-old. The advocate sighted that his client wasn’t even given the opportunity to play in local tournaments as well.

“He cannot even play local club cricket because of this ban. He has offers from clubs in the UK,” submitted Khurshid. In reply, the judges cited that they will be taking the next hearing in the third week of January.

Earlier, Sreesanth was the part of the Indian team in both major ICC events. He was called as a lucky cricketer for India, who took the catch of Misbah in the final of ICC World Cup 2007. Ironically, he also featured in ICC World Cup 2011 final as well.

Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the Kerala fast bowler. Recently, Sreesanth revealed his love and respect to the game of cricket in a reality show named Big Boss.
