The caravan of the fledgling Taipei T10 League has finally moved to its final day. The last set of games will be played on Sunday, May 03. The first of the three games will be ICCT Smashers lock horns with FCC Formosans in what is expected to be a humdinger of an encounter.

ICCT Smashers will be looking to end their campaign with a victory and shrug off the ignominy of the five-wicket defeat that they suffered in their last game against PCCT United.

Batting first, Smashers, on the back of valiant knocks from Rajesh Mehta [23] and Devang Shah [24] posted 4-70 in 10 overs. However, barring Dirvesh Shah [3-10] and Devang Shah [2-16], none of their bowlers could have any impact as PCCT United chased the total down in a whisker.

They will now face FCC Formosans, whose opening fixture- against Chiayi Swingers- ended in a win, as they successfully chased down 6-66 thanks to handy contributions from opener Anthony Lu [15] and the middle-order trio of Omesh Bhat [11], Aryadeep Mrinal [16] and Rahul Aditya [15*].

Rajesh Mehta [23] and Devang Shah [24*] were the only batsmen who got to double figures in the ICCT Smashers last fixture. Expect them to spearhead the batting unit once again. Devang Shah, apart from scoring an unbeaten 24, also claimed two crucial wickets during his spell of 2-24. He can be a great pick as captain for your Dream11 team. Dirvesh Jain claimed 3-10 in the last game and is once again expected to lead the bowling unit.
