Shri Narendra Modi is set for a second term as the Prime Minister of the largest democracy in the world India as BJP has secured a majority of the seats. This year, elections were held on 542 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats with 272 being the mark for a party to form the government. The trend has shown that BJP is leading in over 300 Lok Sabha seats.

The Election Commission will announce the official verdict anytime soon but the writing is very much on the wall now. Unsurprisingly, people across the nation and globe are busy congratulating BJP and PM Narendra Modi on the landslide win. And several cricketers have also taken to Twitter to wish Shri Modi and the ruling party.

Sachin Tendulkar, meanwhile, recently opened up on India’s World Cup chances, saying that a collective team effort will only take the team over the line. Tendulkar, who helped India win the World Cup in 2011, said that Kohli alone cannot win the coveted title for the nation.

“I think you will always have a couple of individuals stepping up every game but without team support, you can’t do much. Just because of one individual, you can’t win a tournament. No way. Unless others chip in at every crucial stage. If that doesn’t happen, there will be a disappointment,” Sachin Tendulkar wad quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicles.
