The Spinners Club Wishes Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma A Blessed Life

With the series against Sri Lanka over and no cricket commitments there at the moment, Team India players made sure to make their skipper Virat Kohli’s wedding reception special by attending it.  The players could not attend the first reception in New Delhi last week due to cricketing commitments but graced the second reception at St Regis’ Astor Ballroom in Mumbai’s Lower Parel on Tuesday (December 26).

Among popular sports personalities who attended the reception were cricketers Virender Sehwag, Sunil Gavaskar, Manish Pandey, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat.

And it seems like the players made their own sub-groups in the wedding as despite arriving at the venue together they wished the couple in batches. One of the batches was ‘The Spinners club’ as written by left-arm spinner Axar Patel as he posted a photo on Twitter along with the newlyweds and his bowling partners – Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

“The spinners club!! Congratulations to @imVkohli bhai and @AnushkaSharma bhabhi.. Have a blessed life together,” Axar wrote.

Meanwhile, the players will soon turn their focus on the upcoming tour of South Africa. Virat Kohli & Co. have looked almost invincible in the last couple of years but will have to be at their best to end India’s long wait for a series win in South Africa.
