The batsmen are getting consistent with their performances. We are witnessing more hundreds in the modern game and that century per innings ratio in the One Day International is getting better. In fact, we have seen that the scores of above 325 have become a norm in ODIs. Thus, the batters are having a merry time.

The consistency level is getting to new heights and the batters are scoring daddy hundreds. The batsmen have delivered the goods in the recent past and they are making most of the batting-friendly conditions.

We take a look at top 10 batsmen who have the best century per innings ratio in International format with a minimum of 15 ODI hundreds to their name.

10. Ross Taylor: Century per innings ratio – 10.60

Another New Zealand makes the list of best century per innings ratio. Ross Taylor has been one of the best batters of his team. Taylor has scored the maximum number of hundred for the Blackcaps. The right-hander has scored 20 ODI tons in the 212 innings and thus he has an impressive Century per innings ratio of 10.60. Furthermore, the linchpin batter has scored 8367 runs at an average of 47.86.

India’s former legendary batsman scored his maiden ODI hundred in his 84th innings. However, after getting his first century, Sachin Tendulkar made sure he never looked back. Tendulkar scored runs consistently for the Indian team and carried the onus of the batting unit on his shoulders for a long time. Furthermore, the talisman batsman went on to break and create new annals in the history books.

Sachin has accumulated most centuries in the 50-overs format as he scored 49 tons. He took 452 innings to get there and thus has a century per innings of 9.22. The Indian opener scored 18426 runs in his career.

Former South African batsman AB de Villiers will go down as one of the best batsmen of the modern era. de Villiers claimed the nickname of a 360-degree batsman as he had the skills of playing all around the park. Furthermore, AB de Villiers came up with the most fearsome shots in the game.

The talisman Proteas batsman scored 25 centuries in the 218 innings he played. Ergo, the right-hander had an impressive Century per innings ratio of 8.72. The former South African skipper scored 9577 runs in his One-Day career.

The right-hander has scored 16 ODI centuries in 135 innings. Hence, he scores a hundred after every 8.43 innings for England.
