After facing a crushing defeat in the first match, Zimbabwe will have their work cut out against Australia. Pakistan utterly outplayed the hosts in the opening match. Thus, they will aim to make a stronger comeback.

Billy Stanlake was the architect of their win after he obliterated Pakistan’s top order. The lanky fast bowler was right on the money with his line and length. Therefore, he was able to borne fruits for the same.

The Australia captain, Aaron Finch also led from the front, as he was brilliant at the slips. Furthermore, the right-hander also did the job with the bat scoring a quick 68 off 33 balls.

Moreover, Australia’s fielding was outstanding, and they would have received a shot in the arm.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe has their issues, as their pivotal players are missing from the series due to their salaries. However, it also gives a chance for other players to show what they can bring to the table. It provides them with the opportunity to play against the best and learn their lessons. In fact, there can be some harsh lessons for them.

In fact, the injury to their fast bowler Kyle Jarvis has rubbed salt on the wound. Donald Tiripano has been called as the replacement for Jarvis.

Australia will aim to continue their winning streak to stamp their authority in the series. This series holds high importance for the Aussie team after the thrashing at the hands of England.

They are in the rebuilding stage, and it would be crucial to get every brick at the right place. Furthermore, they will need to make sure the roots of their new building is strong.
