Twitter Feels Wriddhiman Saha Won't Make a Comeback Following Rishabh Pant's Heroics

The young Indian National Cricket team wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant has gained a good momentum since he stepped onto the international circuit. Right from scoring a Test hundred in England to playing a blistering knock in the ongoing Test, Pant has come a long way in a short time. However, his last knock has raised doubts over the future of Wriddhiman Saha, who is currently out due to an injury.
Meanwhile, Saha has been out of international action since the South Africa tour last year. He suffered a shoulder injury which aggravated further during the Indian Premier League. As a result, he missed the all-important series against England and subsequent assignments thereafter. As Wriddhiman Saha sets his eyes on an international return, his dreams have started to fade with Rishabh Pant improving on a regular basis.
On day two of the Sydney Test, Pant came to the middle after the departure of Hanuma Vihari and since then he made the Sydney crowd dance to his tune. He paced his innings brilliant, unlike the other days when he had to pay the price for being too over aggressive. In the way of scoring his second Test hundred, Pant became the only wicket-keeper batsman to score two overseas Test hundred and the first one to do so in Australia. In addition to, he also broke a 13-year-old record held by MS Dhoni. He overtook Dhoni 148 against Pakistan in 2006 to now have the highest overseas score by an Indian wicket-keeper.
On the other hand, Wriddhiman Saha has struggled to impress with the bat. In 32 matches, he has amassed 1,164 runs, but mostly bats at number 7. Although Saha is better with the gloves on, Rishabh Pant has shown signs of improvement which will give him a nod ahead.

What must the good WriddhimanSaha be thinking if he’s watching @RishabPant777 bat at #Sydney ?

Ravichandran #Ashwin might end up like Wriddhiman #Saha if he doesnt concentrate and improving on his batting skills. #jadeja might be equally or less effective than Ashwin with the bowl, but his batting and fielding selects him into the playing 11.#AUSvIND #INDvAUS

Rishabh Pant is a great find. Wriddhiman Saha will be ruing his luck. An injury forced him to the sidelines and Pant has pounced on the opportunity. One man's gain is another man's loss. Life.

2 worthless debates happening in India currently:#RafaleDebate and #WicketkeeperDebate ( Pant v Saha) ???

#SAHAvsPANT
I would still prefer pant hands down, not only is he 21,he's improving as a WK he's becoming a better batsman, he's already claimed most dismissals in a match & series, Plus SAHA is already 34 pushing 35,no point in investing in him now.@cricketaakash #SPNSports— Vipin Tiwari (@vipintiwari952) January 4, 2019
Pant has lot to prove, but two sena centuries and 2 home 90s in short career is a good start as a batsman. Pure keeping skills ayithe no comparison..long way to go. Dhoni, nayan mongia, saha were all better keepers from cricket I have seen. I am sure More, kirmani were better too

One thing is for sure. When Saha is fit, Parthiv Patel's test career may be over coz he may be chosen as a back up keeper to Pant going forward.
