Twitter In Meltdown As Rohit Sharma Unfollows Virat Kohli On Twitter And Instagram

India star Rohit Sharma has caused quite a stir on social media by unfollowing Virat Kohli on Instagram as well as Twitter.

Looks like a storm is brewing in the Indian cricket. Two of its biggest players – captain Virat Kohli and his deputy in limited-overs cricket – are at loggerheads with each other if recent activities are something to go by.  The fans have now started speculating over whether all is well between the two or not.

Few days ago, Rohit had liked a tweet questioning BCCI’s double standards. The BCCI had posted a picture of the Indian team visiting the High Commission in London. However, the presence of Anushka Sharma in the group photo had not gone down well with the fans.

Rohit had then caused a storm by liking a tweet where a user took a dig at the BCCI. “@ImRo45 void is filled up by @AnushkaSharma I believe WAG’s are not allowed till 3rd test. Different rules for different players!”

Rohit also liked a tweet which says why he deserves to be Indian Test team.

“Rohit Sharma averages 58.19, batting at no 6 in tests. That is more than any batsman playing currently in the world,” the tweet read.

And it looks like things are further deteriorating between the two. In the latest incident, Rohit has unfollowed his captain on Twitter and Instagram. It should be noted that Rohit is being constantly ignored from Tests despite being one of the best batsmen in the country.

He had scored a century in the T20I and ODI series against England but was still overlooked. Prior to that, he had also missed out on a place for the one-off Test against Afghanistan at home. What made his fans further furious was the BCCI’s decision to included uncapped Hanuma Vihari and Prithvi Shaw in the Test side.

Rohit’s actions have now indicated that he is not pleased with the snub.
