Twitter went absolutely furious at the Indian umpires after Suryakumar Yadav’s controversial dismissal in the fourth T20I between India and England. Suryakumar Yadav was in scintillating form when he was given out by the third umpire Virender Sharma in the 14th over of the game as he was caught by Dawid Malan on the ropes.

India once again lost the toss against England in the fourth T20I as they were once again invited to bat by the visitors. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul began the innings in fine form as Rohit Sharma smocked a scintillating six off the very first ball of the match. Both the players then departed and Suryakumar came into bat at number three.

Twitter Goes Mad As Suryakumar Yadav Is Controversially Dismissed

Virat Kohli could not continue his show with the bat as he was stumped out for the first time in his T20I career. But, Suryakumar and Rishabh Pant stitched together a fine partnership between both the batsmen for team India. Surya finished his maiden half-century and he was looking on song before he was given out in a controversial manner.

In the 13th over of the game, Suryakumar was caught by Dawid Malan on the boundary ropes off Sam Curran. However, the catch wasn’t clear and the on-field umpire refereed the catch to the third umpire. A clean footage appeared of Malan not catching the ball properly and Surya was given out in a controversial manner. Twitter went absolutely mad at the decision.

Cricket experts and fans have all come down in support of Suryakumar Yadav. The Indian batsmen kept on their batting display as Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer kept ticking the scoreboard.
